Letter from Nate Allen, President of the Kahlua Board of Directors
Good morning Kahlua Owners:
The flood adjuster’s engineer finally made it to KBC this week to meet with staff and our independent structural engineer. Early indications were positive and all the engineers seemingly agree that the building can be restored. As suspected though, the vertical columns on the balconies will need to be shored up. Obviously, we are hopeful the final report is consistent with their preliminary indications and we will anxiously await receipt of it. In the meantime, we are continuing to negotiate with a contractor to begin cleaning up the property and mitigating any further damage. Thank you for your continued patience while we work through these preliminary issues that will determine how we can proceed.
There is no phone service at Kahlua at this time as the system was wiped out
