Site/Building Updates

 

• Landscaping in process – prep work

• Plantings will go in starting today and finish on Monday

• Molly (Town of FMB) is very happy with our work and prep on property site work.  “We’ve gone above and beyond expectations.”

• New pavers order is in process

• Not enough “old” pavers to complete lot.  Small area by maint. shed left open till new ones arrive

• White pavers used for handicap spots with blue stripe

• ADA & Stop signs for parking lot go in this Friday

• May 7th hydrant install

• Should allow us to apply for our Certificate of Occupancy shortly after hydrant install and final pending inspections

• FMB Fire came to do a “courtesy” walk through.  No major issues.  Should make final inspection no issue

• A couple exit signs test buttons not lighting up

• 3 electrical boxes need covers

• 3 Fire extinguishers to install

• Need Southern Cross to spray fire & insecticide retardant on the Tiki’s, Life/Safety requirement

• Need a couple turtle lights (3-4 week delivery).  Not an issue for inspections

• Cat walk for pool equipment & fencing goes in Friday

• A couple areas of pool pavers need adjustments

• Pool ladders and railings need to be put in this week

• Pool pumps are repaired and working

• Pool chemical tanks are filled but not in service yet as they get adjusted.  Manually adding chemicals at this point

• Dumpster has been removed from site

• Parking lot was washed

• Electrical panel in discussion with inspector and electrician – GFCI breaker discussion, code interpretation - scheduled for this Thursday

• Small area of tile in breezeway needs to be “raised” to address water pooling by bathroom

• Elevator door was adjusted to close smoothly

• Elevator communications (emergency phone) is being addressed.  Signal strength is not at proper level

• Pool heaters are on; a few more days for spa to “cure”
