Site/Building Updates

 

• Fountain Pools – Handrails will go in by Friday

• Floor sink needs to be put in the pool equipment area

• Pool plumbing final inspection is now complete

• Electrical & Pool final in process – this week Thursday. Then we can schedule the Dept Of Health around 5/11

• Pool pump flow rates will be adjusted & calibrated by Friday

• Pool/Spa heaters will be turned on Friday – 85 degrees for pool & Spa at 100 degrees initially

• Light timers need “timing” adjustments

• Hydrant WAS on schedule for Thursday.  NOTE today's DELAY message: Hydrant has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week. This is due to the fact that the underground contractor has been notified by the County that the main is actually 8’ to 10’ below the street level, not the 5’ to 6’ they originally thought. This now increases their work duration from 2 days to 3 days. Lee County will NOT allow them to leave the MOT (barricades) in place over the weekend, and they will not allow them to work Saturday either. Envirostruct offered to pay the OT premium for Saturday, but when they approached Lee County for a variance to the rules, they were told ABSOLUTELY NOT by Lou from Lee County.

• Therefore, we will reload the fire final and the building final for the following Monday. This amounts to an overall one-week delay.

• There is nothing we can do about the County’s stance.

• Fire & Building final inspection planned for late next week now

• Certificate of Occupancy will be filed with the Town of FMB on around Tuesday 5/19.  Certificate issuance could/should take 2-3 days

• Tiki Hut flame retardant application appointment in process with Southern Cross’ owner

• Environmental inspection this week.  This will be a night time test.  All lights must be on.  Turtle light inspection by FMB "turtle lady"

• Full site survey has been completed.  Details will be sent to those concerned

• Pavers arrive Wednesday.  All pavers will be done by weeks end

• LDO final signoff on Thursday of this week

• Elevator comm failure is being elevated to mgmt. of TKE.  Phone works but alarm/light annunciate issue

• Gates will need to be adjusted to “firmly close”

• Railing from Spa deck to pool deck needs to be installed

• John has provided updated punch list which will be combined with Envirostruct’ s open item list
