Site/Building Updates

 

Some information from our construction meeting this week.​
 

• Helical pool pilings are hopefully scheduled for this week.  Extensions are required to get to a “solid base” which is up to 19 feet below grade on some pilings

• Once pilings are set, about 3 weeks more to complete pool itself

• Once pool is done, it will be backfilled and graded

• Scaffolding can then go up to finish gulf-side column repairs

• Then final stucco can be done on building exterior

• South stairwell concrete work is now done

• North stairwell is being worked on this week

• Elevator: piston still needs to be replaced and schedule is in process.  The elevator company, TKD communications, is a bit difficult

• Looking at door hardware needs and possible door replacement on 2-5 (this is in process)

• FDC - Fire Hydrant – “right of way” permit still in process. Engineer, to get info moving

• Getting quotes on exterior hallway flooring on floors 2 and 4

• Slider adjustments should be underway this week

• Maintenance shed permit needed minor changes with regard to its electrical panel.  Will submit change to town this week

• Shed must have “break-away” walls and requires electrical panel.  Will be relocated

• Bath barn door track being assembled this week to test strength

• New barn doors should arrive by end of October 

• Looking at adding a small drop ceiling outside office to cover utilities to electrical room which will make it look nicer

• Soft goods and furniture should be able to be placed in units mid December
  
  At this point, no new adjustments have been made to the completion date of January 2026
